I'd make the sting like a bee reference but... oh, oh wait I just did, didn't I? And cause I had seen "Ai ee ay ee ay, I'm your little butterfly. Green, black, and blue. Make the colors in the sky." on 's entry that song has been stuck in my head since. That's two Aqua songs now. But I like both songs so.... yeah.Model Challenge for
My OC: Juniper Locke my butterfly:
This was harder then the last several dolls I have done. I had the wings and her hair done for two days and it's only in the last few hour that I was able to finally decide on how to show the rest of the outfit and the color of the butterfly. I like the top half of this doll way more then I like the bottom half. I like the wings her hair and the butterfly hair piece that I added last minute.

Baffling? so you are confused on the amount of time and effort that I put in to my dolls to get the details that I want there. yes? This comment confuses me a little so I want to make sure that I'm not misinterpreting it.
With my doll, especially the dolls I've have made within the last 6 months, I try to go beyond just the color of the outfit and to really use the D&D's more then I had before. I challenge myself each time to make something that conveys what I am trying to convey and to use the D&D's to make that happen. I like taking each challenge/contest to push myself to do better then before, and so I try new things all the time. I love seeing how far I have come on making the designs and how far I still have to go.
Also like I have told a few people, I have two screens so I can leave the window with the doll maker up on one screen and work with everything else I need to use my computer for on the other screen. That way flipping between tabs and windows doesn't make the doll maker crash. So each doll I'm able to work on at my own leisure, take my time, and work on it when the mood hits me. Also I'm in between jobs so I have a lot of free time.

I think I may have used the wrong wording. What I meant was that it amazes me that you can create such complex things on an online game. You really made it your own and I'm impressed. Sorry for the confusion.

Like I said I try and out do myself all the time. Lol, what started as a way to pass the time while dealing with writer's block has become a passion. I've been really inspired by some of the other people on this site that use the doll maker to create completely amazing works, and I am trying to better myself to reach that level, hopefully. I kinda stuck at shading right now.

I really felt in a pants mood. The design on the pants and the bodice seemed to take forever for my mind to decide what I wanted to do. So I'm really glad that people like it.
The wings I love, and honestly if I hadn't got the ideas for the rest when I did, I think I would have just done a an outfit without all the extras I put on and those wings.

Oh Liz, if I may be so bold as to say this, but in my personal opinion this may be the best one you've done yet!! This is truly stunning!!! From the silver butterfly clip at the top to the bottom of her pants this doll is just drop dead gorgeous!
