's Model Challenge

Ok, technically this isn't an intro since I did all the other rounds before getting to this. However here we go.

my model is #28 Anastasia and the Baker's Daughter (The Baker that Anastasia falls in love with in Cinderella II)

Wilhelmina Becker is the daughter of Anastasia Becker née Tremaine and Wilhelm Becker. She goes by the name of Mina most of the time.

I decided to name her father Wilhelm Becker (Wilhelm would have been a popular boys name around that time period and Becker is a German surname that means baker). I have picked her name to be Wilhelmina Becker, as I doubt that she would have her mother's maiden name of Tremaine. And to have her named after her father which I really could see Anastasia dong to thumb her nose at her mother. I have the location somewhere along the French-German border, but with research I discovered that Tremaine is a Cornish surname. So she and her daughters came to the area the the movie takes place from the English countryside. I have done a lot of research on where everything took place and while the Cinderellla/Disney Wiki puts Cinderella as French, well with the state of France circa 1850-1880's around the time period the movie took place in. Therefore the town they lived in needed to be on the French-German border and Prince Charming must be a prince in the German Reich(Empire) which ruled from 1871-1918. (originally I had this info on the animal sidekick round since I did that first however I moved it here as it fits better on her information page.)

I got an idea from watching bits of Cinderella III, (since I have yet to see the whole movie.) about Anastasia after the events of that film. She was able to use the Fairy Godmothers wand and have the sparks that come out of it white the whole time. Same as the Fairy Godmothers. However when her sister or mother used the wand the sparks were green. I got the idea that maybe the Fairy Godmother took Anastasia under her wing. The King himself does come to care Anastasia, even letting her keep the shell he gave her, and welcomes her into the royal family. She lives there with her step-sister Cinderella. My idea was that maybe Anastasia starts learning magic to protect her sister Cinderella from any magical danger, so something like the events in that movie can be defended against. So Anastasia becomes a court lady and is was in training to become court mage to be able to protect Cinderella.

Wilhelm was known for his baked good. In fact in their town he was the go to person for the most delicious bread, rolls, and croissants. He was hired by the King and came to stay in the castle, while still managing his shop in town with help from some of his family and people he has hired. (I took this idea and ran with it cause he had to have been successful enough to get such a nice suit in the ballroom scene in Cinderella II) So now he is the head royal baker working just under the head chef. It was shortly after he was appointed the role of head baker and Anastasia finishing the latest stage of her training that they got married.

A few years later Anastasia got pregnant however she miscarried that child. Someone had tried to poison Cinderella to cause her to miscarry. And Anastasia had eaten the item that the poison was in first and the symptoms showed rather quickly. The person that had been the master mind behind the poisoning had been none other then the former Lady Tremaine. Once she was finally apprehended she informed Anastasia that it was of no concern of hers that her baby was dead instead of Cinderella's. As far as Madonna Tremaine (found her name by much much hunting, and landing on the Disney Villains wiki.) was concerned her daughter was dead to her the moment that she sided with Cinderella over her. Madonna Tremaine was executed for her crimes (or so they thought), as the King was furious with the attack on the two girls that he has come to see as daughters and the loss of a grandchild. Drizella while not involved with most of the plans and but still having knowledge of it was banished from the kingdom. All other parties involved were either imprisoned or banished as well.

Cinderella gave birth to a baby girl. However she was upset that her baby came at the cost of her niece or nephew. Cinderella and Anastasia became even closer after the events that took place. And they regard each other as true sisters in heart. And when Anastasia finally gave birth to a baby girl, the birth was celebrated almost as much as the birth of the royal princess. As by that time Anastasia had from all her work and effort to make up for how she had been in the past won the hearts of the kingdom and the court.

Wilhelmina is just shy of her sixteenth birthday. She prefers to go by the name of Mina. Her favorite color is orange. And her favorite food is the chocolate croissants her father makes. She wants to be a painter when she grows up. She loves her cousins and her younger siblings. She has three younger brothers and a younger sister. She knows nothing of her grandmother or of her Aunt Drizella. However she does know a lot of her step-grandfather and of her birth grandfather from her mothers side. As well as her fathers parents and all her aunts and uncles from his side of the family. Also having both her Aunt Cinderella and Uncle Charming, as well as the King who looks on her and her siblings as grandchildren and is thrilled as how many young ones he has to dote on.

I wanted to put in this picture was she looks like in both in her appearance as member of the royal family and in a more modern look that fits with her personality. Her black jeans in the modern look are modeled after a friend of mines jeans in high school. She was an artist as well, and had this one pair of jeans that were caked in paint, and super colorful. I loved them, but I do wonder how comfortable they were to wear and how she cleaned them when I was thinking of them years later. I made both Anastasia and Wilhelm have their look from the second movie. As I love this outfit on Anastasia and it would look weird to put her in that outfit and have Wilhelm in his fancy suit. So he gets to wear his normal clothes. And I have them each holding half of the flower heart-shaped garland from that movie. They get one together each year on the anniversary of the day they met.

wow most of this is more about her parents then her but the background info helps I think.
