Description
Constantinople groaned and opened her eyes, her dreams interrupted by the sound of someone pacing in the bedroom. The iguana sat up slightly and peered around. Suddenly something passed by at the top of her vision, and she looked up. There, walking back and forward across the ceiling, was her husband, Istanbul the gecko. Connie let out another groan.
"Tanner," she said, "what are you doing?"
The gecko paused and looked at her, his eyes half closed and his voice soft and slightly mumbled.
"On a... stakeout."
Connie frowned.
"Stakeout?"
Tanner nodded.
"Gotta catch... graffiti artists. Can't let them... get away..."
Connie sighed and slipped out her bed, realizing what was wrong. Tanner was sleepwalking again.
"You're not on a stakeout, Tanner," she said softly, reaching up to take his arm.
"I'm... not?"
"No. The stakeout's done. You caught the bad guys."
Connie began to lead her husband over to the wall, guiding him as he walked down it.
"Now," she continued as she lead him to his side of the bed, "it's time to go home, and have a long, long sleep."
Tanner nodded and mumbled as Connie tucked him in, his eyes closing fully
"Sleep. Yes. Gotta get some... sleep."
Connie kissed her husband and headed back round to climb into bed. She lay down and peered up at the ceiling, shaking her head. It was one thing to have a partner who walked in his sleep, but it was a completely different thing to have one who could do it upside-down on the ceiling...

Suddenly something passed by at the top of her vision, and she looked up. There, walking back and forward across the ceiling, was her husband, Istanbul the gecko. Connie let out another groan.
"Tanner," she said, "what are you doing?"
The gecko paused and looked at her, his eyes half closed and his voice soft and slightly mumbled.
"On a... stakeout."
Connie frowned.
"Stakeout?"
Tanner nodded.
