I feel like most of these designs are heavily based off of the destroid series from macross and robotech. REGARDLESS. Nice concepts.

Funny/Scary thing is, use the artistic (aka: your art) design, but updated to post-Jihad equipment:
Endo-Steel
10 DHS
4x MML-5s (5 tons of ammo in total)
2x ERMLs
1x Snub-Nosed PPC
Guardian ECM Suite
And you get one very scary MOFO of a 'Mech. Friend came up with it, and I personally think it's better then some of the official stuff, while still managing to look identical to your art, which is double-points awesome.

on an other note this config could be used by the Draconis Combine as a Heavy Support Heavy Attack unit those MRMs really pack a punch
