Description Someone requested I show how I made the Invisibility Ray comic, so I spent a couple hours making this tutorial. Hope it is helpful.

Very nice and well-written. I have always wanted to try doing this on my own art, but never quite understood how (I'm old school when it comes to art: all done by hand).

Very awesome! I never even think about using the path tool! So far my only attempts have been at painstakingly tracing the lines with my mouse, which I am absolutely horrible at. When I give up at that, I realize how much easier it is to simply ink the drawings and THEN scan them, lol.

I used to do that too. If you look back at my really old digital drawings, you'll see the lines were kind of wavy. I still use a mouse for all my art, but the pen tool makes such nice smooth lines, my art made a huge improvement once I started using it. Though I know some people buy good art pens to ink before scanning. I suppose that's up to the artist's preference.
