I have a Q, how do I save a file in illustrator ? the formats are all weird > <

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

NormanSanzo In reply to TokiCrafts [2009-03-13 18:13:49 +0000 UTC]

Oh your welcome glad you find it useful

Well illustrator files ends with a (.ai) but if you use illustrator it's the default save format

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

TokiCrafts In reply to NormanSanzo [2009-03-13 19:29:27 +0000 UTC]

^w^

I save as that format, It didn't preview in windows photo gallery, but I don't even know if it's able to be previewed there x3 I know nothing about illustrator. I opened it in photoshop and could only save it is JPG which ruined the quality

I hope that makes some sense, sorry for the many Qs, but I really need help on saving > <

NormanSanzo In reply to TokiCrafts [2009-03-14 03:48:44 +0000 UTC]

Well for a Illustrator files they don't show up in the windows photo gallery. And as far as I remember Illustrator to Photoshop is not very friendly, and it get's confusing at some spot. Photoshop dose allow you to save in various file format except Illustrator files, so If you have Illustrator just use that it's much simple to start out with .

Oh it's ok I like answering question and helping people

Awesome tutorial although aren't there cheaper or free comparable programs out there? After all, have a program THAT expensive and there will be bound to be people who create their own cheaper version.

This is nice. Well, I use Photoshop for all the effects I make. I know this lineart process is very complicated, but it has great results.

Hey! This reminds a tutorial I made some time ago, of Ron [link]

Maybe we could work in a great tutorial both of us. You know, I show the basic draw, you show the lineart and colouring.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

NormanSanzo In reply to Destikim [2007-10-02 19:02:24 +0000 UTC]

Cool I would love to work with you, It would be fun .

This tutorial was actually inspired by your tutorial I felt that your tutorial was great that it inspired me to do one of my own It was originally suppose to be a Kim Possible tutorial... since it has been done I thought that I just do a tutorial on how to use Illustrator .

Yeah the process is very complicated but the coloring is very easy I only use Photoshop to create some funky background .

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Destikim In reply to NormanSanzo [2007-10-03 06:51:34 +0000 UTC]

Ahh, wish I could use Illustrator, but I guess I have to stay with Photoshop

Anyway, If you want a Kim Possible drawing tutorial, I'll work on that, and then, you can create the colouring tutorial. What do you say?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

NormanSanzo In reply to Destikim [2007-10-03 16:33:04 +0000 UTC]

I think Photoshop is even more power full then Illustrator

Collaborate with you, thats cool sure I'll love to collaborate with you

Thanks I'm glad that you like it .

I'm using Adobe Illustrator CS2, I think it doesn't really mater since all the command key for the tools are all the same in all version of Adobe Illustrator .
