You wanna be a pony? I’ll TF you to pony!
I started this My Little Pony headbase a while back and I couldn’t decide which pony I wanted it to be… that’s where you come in!
I’m offering this as a fursuit commission- $1900 for an Earth pony, $2000 for a pegasus pony or unicorn, and $2100 for an alicorn. It’s Mane Six proportions, and the head is much larger than a regular fursuit head in order to achieve the proper pony proportions (try saying that five times fast!)
I would be starting this project in March, and it would be finished in early summer or sooner. Do drop me a line if you’d like to order! lobitaworks@gmail.com
50% will be due up front, with the remainder due upon completion. I’ll need measurements from you, but a duct tape dummy is optional. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. Thanks for lookin’!

Not yet. Nobody claimed the commission, so it's become one of my personal projects, which tend to be backburnered a lot in favor of paid work.

Sorry for commenting again, but has anyone purchased this? I really want to see this sucker finished! And if nobody purchases it will you just be making a premade or what will you be doing with the head base?
I really wish I hadn't already started payments on my fursuit commission, otherwise I would have snatched this up. It's right within my budget too!

Nobody's taken the offer yet, no.
If nobody buys it, I dunno what I'll do really... maybe finish it up and wear it/try to sell it at the MLP Fair in July? Doubt it would sell there, but at least it would be a good attention-getter for my booth.

I was thinking of doing that too. A lot of people make it out of cardboard as well, but I'm no so sure that would hold up very well.

May I ask how you made the perfect foam sphere? It looks great!

I would imagine you could get a beach ball slightly larger than your head, cut it up along the seams, and use it to make a pattern for gluing foam sheets together.
