Hi, everyone, Logan here, I've been working on this new project for … I believe it has been five months or so, something like that, and I'm so happy to finally start bringing it to y'all, it's the result of countless hours of making micro heroes, story crafting, research, revisions, corrections, all to make the best for you. I've never gone this deep with this kinda project, so I hope you like it, any appreciation will be gratefully appreciated.

I wasn't sure at first about this,but one thing that convinced me to go through with it were the games, DBZ Kakarot will have his third DLC dedicated to the History of Trunks special and Xenoverse 2 recently had a DLC centered around Future Gohan (at least the trailer was, I haven't played yet), which got me thinking people must still like future Trunks, and especially, future Gohan, so let's give them some love because they deserve it.

I decided to use this prologue first to explain to you the setting, the universe and give you a general idea of what you are in for.

WHAT IS DRAGON BALL: FUTURE UNLEASHED?

Future unleashed is my own take on the Trunks Timeline aka the Future Timeline, starting right at the beginning of the TV special "History of Trunks".

WHAT IS THE "HISTORY OF TRUNKS"

History of Trunks is a TV special that aired back in 1993, exploring the timeline where Future Trunks came from, featuring a grim future where Goku died due to a heart virus, the Z warriors had little time to recover from this, as the world was soon terrorized by the androids 17 and 18 and all of the Z Warriors, but Gohan are dead. We follow the struggle of an adult Gohan doing his best to honor his father's legacy, save the world and train Trunks, while Bulma works on a time machine she hopes can prevent all of this from happening. I guess everyone knows what happens next, but for those who don't, I'm gonna leave it there, as this information is all we need for our little what-if. If you want to know more, feel free to watch the History of Trunks (or read the manga), it's a pretty decent TV special and sets everything properly. We get a good look at this future and why Bulma is making the time machine. Just know our story will be different, as it begins (in #1) the day Trunks would turn ssj in the special.

FURTHER INFORMATION

I'm planning to cover the Android, Cell and Buu saga, and most of the original 15 DBZ movies (don't worry, I'll work around them so they can fit the timeline), with some exceptions, I'll skip Garlic Jr (because his whole movie revolves around the dragon ball wish, and we have no dragon balls; and his revenge against Kami, which is already dead at this point), Dr. Wheelo (because there is no way I'm gonna make that giant robot LOL, it would take me forever) and the Broly trilogy (if we are adapting Broly I prefer to use, and I really hope we go this far, the Super one). Beyond that, it's more up to you than me, and I'd love to go crazy, tackle Super and GT, I've been dreaming with Future Gohan SSJ4 everyday lol, but I need your support, that's all I need, I don't want your money, or donations, just the support. I guarantee 100% you will see the DBZ sagas and movies I mentioned, and hopefully will announce Super and GT as soon as we gather enough ki for this Genki Dama (aka Spirit Bomb), and again, I'd love to do that.

I'm doing my best to create an immersive world without a really long text, I imagine if the script is too long, most people will check out before #2 LOL. That's the reason why I'm posting this #0, so you get everything first and won't go in with the train already moving or moving too slow with a long exposition, this #0 was done so we can get the boring part out of the way LOL. I did my best to learn some writing skills, just to improve the overall quality of my writing, and I'm still learning (I'm a novice), but I'm not in any way a professional writer. It's my first time doing something this different, but I'm really happy with how things are looking.

Regarding the scripts, I have 4 of them done and the rest almost done, in pretty advanced phases; as for the micros that will go along, more than half of them are done. I plan to post each chapter every week or every two weeks. Just telling you this so you can see I'm serious with this, that I don't plan on abandoning the story, I like to read and I know how painful it is to not see go all the way, trust the project, trust me.
