The final boss of the scorched cemetery:

The player will encounter Tòmas in the crypt of the Cathedral of Truth, as he’s marking the sinners that will later be sent to the next circle, as a centaur takes the sinners through an inner passage, Tòmas turns towards the player, revealing that despite having being turned the Archdemon of this domain, he’s was still condemned as a sinner for his acts of violence.

The player will also receive some lines of dialogue from him:

“Uuuh, a lowly half-demon has come to be granted audience…..”
“This is no place for your ungrateful ilk…..”
“No matter, I’ll dispose of you’re filthy presence….”
“FOR I AM TÒMAS OF TORQUEMADA! ARCH INQUISITOR OF THE CATHEDRAL OF TRUTH!!”

During this fight Tòmas attacks with primarily his fire marker, causing severe fire damage, but he can also use fire spells that can push away the player giving him breathing space to attack from afar or to start a charge attack.

If the player gets caught by this charge attack, they are then knocked prone and Tòmas proceed to brand them.
If Tòmas successfully makes this attack he regenerate a lot of health at the player expense.

When at 1/3 of his health he reaches phase 2

“OH MY LORD FROM UP ABOVE, BEAR WITNESS TO MY LOVE FOR YOU, WATCH AS I ERADICATE THIS FILTH IN YOUR NAME!!”

From now on random sinners are dropped in the arena from above, if Tòmas brands them he will regenerate health so the player needs to kill them before Tòmas does.

Upon defeat:

“Nooooo! The lord loves me, he can’t…. let this…. happen to me…..”

by defeating Tòmas the player receives:

Bloodied crucifix: a old heirloom, now covered in bloodied remains, it can be inserted in the great sarcophagus below the Cathedral of Truth to open the passage to the next circle

The Justice card: a tarot card depicting a watchful eye watching over a man holding a bloodied knife. The practice of the Tarot was once used to read the past and the future, although a full deck is necessary to do so.

Echoes of the Persuer: echoes of a powerful being that resonates across the underworld: these ones fearfully pronounce the name of Tòmas de Torquemada.
Perhaps an arcane craftsman can do something with it.

From these echoes the player can obtain:

1-Executioner’s brander: Arch Inquisitor Tòmas weapon of choice, the player gains back health with each critical hit.

2-Inquisitor’s Flame: a powerful spell used by the demons known as the Inquisitors, the user creates a powerful explosion around himself, sending the enemies flying.
It is said that these demons were once men and women that loved the greater consciousness to an intoxicating level.
