I had a lot of fun designing and writing this guy, I was mainly inspired by general Grievous and Lord Shen for his original design, but I later opted for the cosmic cape design which fits him quite well to be honest.

Lord Gilgamesh is the supreme leader of the Unkoan Empire, which exists in the empty Void between universes, excluded even from the time stream. Nobody knows how the Unkoans came to be, but being immortals, they themselves have forgotten their origin. The Unkoans are also genderless and thus cannot reproduce, and an infant Unkoan is an extremely rare sight, as they just seem to randomly generate from the Void.

Being the only conscious being in the timeless void, they grew envious of those who have a universe of their own, which they consider weakling due to their mortality and incapacity to stare into the Void without going insane. Leading the Unkoans since the dawn of time is their supreme military, political and religious leader: Lord Gilgamesh.

Gilgamesh was chosen for this task due to his bizarre appearance among his kind: the average Unkoan has two pairs of arms and 1 big eye in the center of their “face” with 4 really small ones around it. Gilgamesh however has 8 arms and a total of 7 eyes around his main one, he’s also two times taller than the average Unkoans and has claw like feet. During this long period of time, Gilgamesh has tried to gain access to the multiverse, knowing that with their technology and formidable powers, the Unkoans could rule over it as the superior race. The Unkoans have also gained the ability to see through the time stream with their mind, and Gilgamesh being the most powerful of them is no exception, and one day he had a vision of a device called the Omnitrix, that would bless the Unkoans with the possibility to enter the multiverse, but also brought his own demise.

Gilgamesh became obsessed with the Omnitrix and personally searched for it through the time stream, hoping to gain it for himself and prevent his own downfall. Once he finally found it through the time stream Gilgamesh’s soldiers accidentally threw it into the Void, and generated a portal to our Ben’s universe.

Believing that the Omnitrix was destroyed, Gilgamesh started his conquest on board his distorted battle ship, and eventually came to Earth after enslaving a few planets with little to no effort, fighting on the front lines alongside its army.

During this period, Gwen haven’t developed her magic skills yet, but the fight against the Unkoans will play a big role in her development.

Suddenly a scout report to it saying that on Earth there was a weird energy source that resembled the one of the Omnitrix.Realizing its worst fears were coming back to haunt it, Gilgamesh ordered to destroy the Earth. Unfortunately Ben and his team got onto the ship after Max finally revealed his past as a plumber ( the cool type), but they were almost immediately captured short after Ben has disguised himself as an Unkoan. After a tough fight, Ben transformed into Might-Netic for the first time and redirected the beam onto the battle ship.

Gilgamesh was the only one who survived, and stranded on earth, he swore revenge on Ben for humiliating him in such a way, becoming a consistent threat in his life

Gilgamesh can predict his enemies moves, crawl on walls with his clawed feet, shoot lasers from his eyes and create weapons from his cloak made of dark matter. Staring too long into its larger eye can make anyone insane.
