Description
Every Ben10 universe needs an alien arch enemy, the canon universe have Vilgax, this one have Davos.
In this universe the Omnitrix wasn’t created by Azmuth, but by a race whose name got lost through time, dating to a time were there was only one universe. The Omnitrix was created to preserve the balance and needed to be given to someone worthy of controlling it and all the essences inside of it ( a lack of control is the reason why Ben can’t choose his aliens properly). For this task, was chosen a young boy from an apparently powerless race enslaved by much stronger aliens. That boy was Davos, who will later be raised by this race and trained in the art of combat, and even magic. After 50 years of training however, Davos discovered the great power of his race ( a power which is said to have been able to challenge even the race that have raised him), and used it to free his people, while also exterminating his former slavers. Horrified by this act of violence that have involved also innocent people, the unnamed race refuse to give the Omnitrix to Davos, and thus started a war, so catastrophic that the fabric of reality itself was broken, and thus the multiverse was created.
Davos however underestimated the secret power of his people and the unnamed race erased the former slaves from existence, except for Davos who had become to strong even for their power, this however was not enough, and Davos was ultimately defeated.
As punishment his body was turned into a gaseous red nebula and his power was reduced to a fraction of what it once was. Trapped into a containment suit, he was later trapped in the nightmarish realm that was formed in the space between the universes, isolated even from the time stream. The unnamed race however still feared that one day, Davos would return and they wouldn’t live long enough to keep him at bay, and incapable of containing every DNA in the multiverse into the device, they instead added a scanning device so that the user could choose his own arsenal. But not knowing who could be worthy of holding such a responsibility they send the device into the time stream, believing that only fate could choose the right person to defeat Davos.

And just as they predicted, Davos did escape.
Despite having a fraction of his immense power, Davos still have phenomenal strength, flight and intangibility, with the added ability of exiting his suit as an incorporeal gaseous mass that can possess living things.

Davos believes that to restore his former self and controlling the multiverse, he must first get his hands on the Omnitrix, and thus his rivalry with Ben, began.
