Description
Here’s the next entry for the rogue gallery that I’m creating for my new Ben10 reimagining.
Ben faced Baccano in one of his early adventures when he was still in Bellwood. Apparently the villain heard about Ben’s aliens and their fight against The Mariner, Mudpile and Leech, and thirsty for a thrilling fight, he came looking for the “mutant freaks” that infested the town. Before he could attack him the Omnitrix turned Ben into Rattle Fright, and things started going downwards off Gwen didn’t calmed him down. During their first encounter Baccano was armed with a chest plate that could emit powerful sound waves that were so powerful that could make ears bleed, and a pair of shock gauntlets. Thankfully Ben was able to control this new form and nullified his sound waves, however Baccano proved to be a much tougher opponent than expected, even without any superpowers, and for the first time Ben needed someone else’s help to defeat a foe, in this case Gwen, who broke the villain headgear, making him susceptible to his own sound. His gear was later revealed to be completely homemade and not alien in nature, proving that this guy was quite the tech wiz.
From the beginning, Baccano fascinated Ben, with his wacky sound based one liners and his psychotic laughter he looked like a character from a comic book that he used to read.
This impression however changed during their next encounters, as Baccano might be the first villain that Ben has truly feared, because of the horrible actions he was willing to take to get his “ daily dose of adrenaline”.
These actions ranged from hypnotize a small community of woodcutter, to hijacking a plane, to trying to blow up a city with a sonic bomb.
Worst part is, that after each fight he built stronger and stronger equipment, for example his shock gauntlets could now emit sonic waves, and later he applied the same technology to his booth in order to jump higher or even glide
But Ben worst fears came to fruition, when Baccano one day turned up wearing a different type of glove that resembled the Omnitrix, which he had dubbed: “ The Omnibeat”. The Omnibeat can scan any living creature and produce a sound that debilitates them, which Baccano later implements in a soundtrack that he composed. On the device he had store a playlist for every alien in Ben’s arsenal, with each song having its own title. The only alien capable of stopping him is still Rattle Fright, as long as the Omnitrix lets him use it, and even then Baccano has multiple aces up his sleeves, so in order to beat him Ben needs to hit smarter rather than harder.
Despite being a technological genius, Baccano generally works under other big enemies of Ben, but when he thinks on his own, he can be ten times more dangerous.
