Beta currently inactive - v5 has gone live: [link]Watch #dANotifier for future developments
0.5.2 changes:
> Added protection from overlapping updates
> Other, minor bugfixes
0.5.x features:
> Much less dependent on the layout (splinter is okay now)
> Breakdown into message types / groups for all messages
> Accurate detection of freshly received messages
> Visual (green badge) and sound notification for new messages
> Ability to remember state between browser sessions (i.e. will show new messages for the time you were offline)
This version is a release candidate. It will be available for some short time for testers to check out, and will be released with only cosmetic changes if no new bugs are found.

I like your notifier
Only I would suggest, if you can do it, to enable us to choose which parts we'll monitor
ex. I don't need it to watch deviations and journal so I would turn that off and notes, comments, replies, bulletins to be on

And I LOVE the "New" feature and the Splintering. Knowing which group I have messages in is suh-weet.

Actually, I really need a Mac tester. Do you have a lot of messages in your inbox? I need to verify that long, multiline tooltips render correctly, because I used a rather ugly workaround to extend XP's limits on tooltip length.

I don't know how to do that yet.. In a sense I must upload the sound to the extension's folder, I don't know if it's possible
