Hopefully you guys can follow this. This is the easiest way I've found to return any straight ponytail wig to its frizz free glory.Any Miku or Linalee cosplayer knows how bad these wigs can get the moment you put it on, let alone halfway into a con. With the above methods though my wigs look brand new every-time I use them.
Added benefits is the product left in the wigs from this process makes them slightly less likely to frizz.
EDIT: The little pink bottle of wig spray is no longer available at this time, you can make your own with liquid fabric softener and water though!

This is AWESOME!! Because I plan on buying a wig in the future and this will definitely come in handy~!!!! Any suggestions for where to buy a decent wig? I've seen some on ebay through a seller named cosplaywigs. They have some cute lolita ones that I was thinking about buying~!!!

If you are talking about these guys [link] then they are decent, a TAD on the thin side but nice quality.
Im a big fan of [link] they have very nice wigs.
Other then that I tend to buy from random stores but ive bought quite a few from the above stores.

There are no cheap wig stores nearby me. D: So I'd have to order it online, lol The only stores I've seen are for toupees or something, lol, nothing cute like these! XD
For COSPLAY WIG, hmm...how thin are their wigs? Like if I just wanted something kinda cheap that can be styled and won't fall apart, would you not recommend them?
I will definitely check out the CC-KIDS store. Their store on eBay confuses me, lol you have to scroll allll the way down to actually get to the items. >~<

Honestly cosplay wig is expensive compared to other stores, they wont fall apart but the thinness can be a problem when styling :S
and CC-Kids is amazing but yeah has so many damn photos !

Really? Cosplay Wig is expensive compared to other stores? O_o I didn't do too much research into other stores on eBay but I'll have to look into it. I'll probably just end up going with stuff from CC-Kids...I just wish they had more Lolita styled wigs like Cosplay Wig...eventually I plan on making a lolita outfit...when I learn to sew a bit better. *sigh* Dx

AWESOME!! i have a trick too!! its called softerner... XD chepo method..
Just normal clothing softerner and water!! 1: 3 then spray spray spray or SOAK!! yeah!! works wonders!!

I've heard that works, sadly I've got allergies to alot of things like that, and some brands of softeners -_-

This is really helpful! I don't cosplay, but I like collecting tutorials that could help me if I ever decide to start. ^^ I never thought about how tangled long wigs would get though. (Maybe because it's been so long since I've had long hair?) Anyway, I bet this tutorial helped out a lot of people!

This is true, I like to repair them after I use them so they are fresh next time, my friends are often panicking over getting theirs ready, it's nice to nit have to!

I get them lots of different stores! Sadly they all tangle about the same, BUT if you pretreat them with something to make them more slippery you can brush them out alot easier at the con, im about to go to SMASH in 2 weeks, i'm trying new wig spray, i'll let you know how it goes!
