The influence meme! I was dying to do it
The original is right here: You can download the original for full size 01: Disney of course! I used to have the illustrated book versions of all the movies when I was little and I would spend hours and hours trying to copy the drawings.
02: Fashion design. When I was younger I drew models all the time. I thought I wanted to go into fashion but then I realized what I liked were not the clothes but the art.
03: Alphonse Mucha.
04: Asterix et Obelix. I have them all!
05: The Simpsons. I went through a "Simpsons period" when I was like 16 and everything I drew was in the Simpsons style. I love their coloring style!
06: Studio Ghibli movies. 'Nuff said!
07: The Art of Star Wars books, and especially Iain McCaig. I used to have a Star Wars fansite called Padme's Wardrobe and his designs for Padme Amidala's clothes always seemed stunning to me.
08: Edgar Degas' dancers.
09: Mortadelo y Filemón. A crazy Spanish comic that I used to read all the time.
10: HARRY FREAKING POTTER of course!!!! lol
11: Maitena. She's an Argentinian artist and her comic strips are genius. She draws really cool clothes and such funny expressions!

LOL! I loved Astérix et Obélix when I was little but my dad wanted me to read Tintin, which I always found so boring! I think I'm like you, I pretty much learned to read with them

XD Yo la verdad es que me empecé a interesar por hacer mis propios wallpapers inspirándome primero en los calendaris que había colgados en la página y luego ya desarrollé otros "estilos" más propios... jaja Fue una de las primeras páginas que miraba con asiduidad para ver si habia novedades.
