Description First off I would like to thank Andreas Verhoeven aka Ave for letting me create this theme in his amazing program, Vista Style Builder (previously AveStyle).

History:
We all know about Savoury's Target: Longhorn right? The theme that had a promised date of February 2nd, 2008? Well after he didn't show, the Longhorn fans grew irritated. All he did was tease 'n' leave. The Longhorn Fusion Team, at this point still working on LHIE and the old LHE, quickly gave notice. After a while we decided to hop on board and have a "have at it" ourselves. The problem was the large navigation buttons. (Which after research we found he did the same thing with the 97dpi.) After word went around (can't remember who found it) all hell broke loose in Longhorn themes. However we didn't just focus on the buttons. We focused on the experience. We kept adding things until Beta II. At this point nothing else could be done. Well we continuously poked around trying to make breakthroughs. Not much though. It wasn't until UK.Intel recommended me to Ave to help him with some naming for VSB. From June 10th, 2008 until September 3rd, 2008 I've used this amazing program and I still find new things everyday! I've added...

Mate, this is way cool......but I can't apply it at all...it doesn't show up in Style Selector...there doesn't appear to be an en-US folder with the visual style mui...which is why I'm guessing it's not showing up in SS

Can you help with this mate??
As I'd really like to be able to start using this amazing theme

Vista Style Builder embedded the MUI within the theme. I don't see why it's not working. It works for everyone else.

If possible can anyone help find the variant address for this theme that would hide the userpicture from the start menu? In a normal msstyle, aero.msstyle for example, the variant address would be 0x014470, but apparently the addresses have been changed on Longhorn M7. Thanks in advance.

First off great theme, but I'm having a little problem when I try to access either my Control Panel or Default Programs from my start menu. I receive a message "control.exe - Ordinal Not Found" then "The ordinal 120 could not be located in the dynamic link library iertutil.dll." Once I click "OK" either the Control Panel or Default Programs window appears normally, depending on which one I chose. I was using 96Dpi, x86, and Aero when this occurred.

Ok thanks, I think I know what the problem was. Im guessing that the ieframe.dll was for IE7; I mistakenly replaced the ieframe for IE8 with the one you provided.

Just by replacing the DLL's with the ones included and changing the dpi to 97ppi (101%) and it'll look just like that.

I used the iwinux one. It's a nice theme.

The only problem i found is about window and taskbar transparency when current window is maximized. In the original aero theme you can correct that using VistaGlazz, but couldn't fix that by myself in this theme.

Appart of that, this theme is awesome, good work and thank you.

VistaGlazz overwrites the Aero theme with their own with the Max Glass one. I agree with MS on this one. What's the point of maximizing? To get rid of all distraction. Why would you be looking at the glass when you're maximizing to get rid of all distraction?
