Went back to 7 after getting annoyed at 8 and got bored and update NSFR.Note that this is a 2012 pre-release, I'll continue updating it as I go.

Fixed bug that caused a black box to show around the "Select file to preview" label in the reading pane in Documents, Music, and Photos folders. Remade the Tool Window close buttons to look cleaner and clearer and to be more consistent with the regular window's close button. Fixed the MDI restore button missing its rightmost pixels. Updated the recently pinned jump list image (yellow highlight) Fixed bug in address bar that caused a slight black background when the combo box was shownMarch 15th, 2012

i luv this style, but i dont like font color. i've change code shellstyle.dll but explorer crashed. so, can you help me??? i want to change font color from violet to black. Thank you so much !

Why have the Longhorn back and forward buttons disappeard is this new version ? They were present in the precedent one.

NSFR is the no system files replacement version, meaning it's just the msstyles and is made to work with the default shell32 and explorerframes in 7. Later I'll make the changes to support the full version, I'm just using NSFR at the moment to test everything without having to constantly upload the dll files (takes about 30 minutes on my connection).

I want to make a bug report, I don't know if it has already been posted.
The Taskbar with small icons has inconstistent look, the image behind the Start-Button and the System-Tray looks different than the one behind the task-switcher. I want to mention it, as it looks ugly.

I really like it! I like the buttons.... panel... almost all, except the buttons of window ("close, "hide", "minimize"). They are a little bit rough. Maybe you would remake them in future?

No, borders are typical and there is no problem with that. I think that the icons inside of buttons are too big... or maybe something else, but the problem is in that icons for sure.

It's size and borders are there simply because they were in Longhorn and the point of this theme is to get it as close as possible to the actual Aero theme from back in 2004 (while also making it look more modern and clean). But I understand what you're saying, if this wasn't a recreation the buttons would be larger and it wouldn't have had a double border.

Yes, it was like that throughout all of Longhorn including Vista when it released. It was made because if you look at a real pane of glass the edges will be teal due to the way the light goes through it.

Yes. I'm using NSFR as a beta because it's easier to test and I don't have to upload all the system files along with each update.

YAY. I also got fed up with Windows 8 and decided to switch back to windows 7. But I needed the good theme I used before
I upgrade to Windows 8. I'm counting on you now to see when I should return back to Windows 7
