THIS IS NOT CANON TO MY GRIMMWALKER STORY!!! THIS IS A WHAT IF? SCENARIO YOU SILLY NUTBARSWhen the sky darkens, and the air turns foul.
The world will go quiet as the Grimm howl.
When the will of the beast can no longer be restrained.
When the sky turns to blood. Our sins shall be claimed
When it can no longer bare it's burden, and surrenders to the pain,
When all is said and done, the Grimmwalker shall reign.
Well. I'm never doing that again. Fuck was I thinking?
Anyway, everyone was pretty into the idea of Skye going full evil and using her powers to lay waste to her entire town. Soooo I drew it. This is what you all wanted? I guess? Now Skye has completely given into the forces swirling inside her and become as uncontrollable as any other Grimm. But her power is massive as a sea of blackness washes across her former "home" and the new Grimm begin to emerge from within. And of course, all that evil energy got the attention everyone's favorite wicked witch, Salem. Just imagine what it'd be like for the world with Skye working for her.
Nice job you guys, you just made RWBY's life a lot more difficult. Nice.
Also even though this is not canon to my story, at least I can finally say with a certainty, that Skye is not Salem. It was a good theory guys, and honesty, I kind of wish I had just gone with that story idea. Because it's good.
Anyway, more Grimmwlaker stuff soonest. Got an epilogue for the first Act in mind. Other stuff too. Later.

The Grmmwalker held back the forces darkness for six years, but Salem had a will of her own.The girl finally fell and joined Salem and her group. In the years that followed, the Maidens and the relics was found. The newest member joined her new group on the hunt them down.
And then, something happened. A new hope came and found its way to fight the darkness.
Death came. Death to Salem. Death to Ozpin. Death to the Grimmwalker: Who walked out of darkness and found freedom.

For what it's worth, I never believed Skye to be Salem from the start (unless you find evidence to counteract that, just ignore whatever you find because the past me was AN IDIOT). I always (maybe) believed she was her own character because this was your story, and it would be tricky incorporating your own story with canon characters.
But I'm glad you found great ground to start building her up, dude. I'm legit interested in this story, though hopefully one day we'll see actual text boxes and not backstory words.
And I'm sorry for the late comment, my exams were just finishing up and I had zero time to do anything when you posted this. And when my exams were done, I had totally forgotten about this because it was buried by other artist notifications. But I'm here now and always super happy to see whenever your stuff reaches my dashboard.

I'm excited to escape the purgatory of backstory as well. I want to say we're about halfway there in the actual story. But that could change anytime I decide to add another six pages of life into it, as I am one to do. I want to get the epilogue done, then we'll move onto part 2 of this story, which I have tentatively titled "The Wrath of the Grimmwalker". We'll see if that title sticks or not though.
Don't sweat the late reply btw. As long as I'm somewhere on your list of dudes the check in on, I'm happy.

I would like to see Skye being a daughter of sorts to Salem. This is a neat little What-If scenario.

Oh yeah. Salem would manipulate the hell out of her though. They made a good point in the volume 4 commentary that Salem treats all her subordinates differently. Telling them what they need to hear in order to get what she wants from them. She could be cruel and aggressive towards them, but she doesn't need to in order to get what she wants.
Skye just needs a little compassion shown to her and I'm sure Salem is more than willing to show just enough in order to bring her over to her side.
