Description
The title should better be Copic Markers and Colored Pencils Tutorial but it was too long. xDMy very first tutorial everyone.
It shows how I color most of my drawings, if I'm not using watercolor.

).And forgive me that I wrote so much! Will even anyone read all of it? xD

Not to be noobish.. but what is a light box? That little bit confuses me...

For example: [link] (mine looks different, because it was build by my parents, but it's basically that)
It's just a flat box with a glass on top, where light shines through. If you put sheets of paper on it, you can see through them, because of the light from below. :]

Wow, I've never seen this technique before, it makes everything look so wonderful and polished. What light colours of copics would you recommend for skin tones???

Depends on the skin tone you want to create, I'd say. For a light white skin (which I draw most, because it's the easiest for me) I like to use Skin White (E00), Milky White (E51), and Bareley Beige (E11) or Brick Beige (E31). I'm not very familiar with darker skin, so I can't recommend anything for that. Sorry! (Man... I should practise that. >_<) Hope that helped anyways. :]

very helpful! I doubt I have any copic markers or GOOD colored pencils but I tried out the technique and it worked out much better then I could ever have done alone

Thanks sooo much for making this!!! I'm completely lost when it comes to adding color, I work mostly with grayscales and anything that can't be captured with a #2 pencil I'm clueless about. This makes it much easier! Thankz~

It's gorgeous. Can you tell me where you get your markers, and are they really expensive? The ones use are a bit cheap, you know? he wnd drawing looks great- and no, your grammar is perfect.

Well, I buy them in local art stores, and since I'm from Germany, I really don't know where to buy them anywhere else. I'm sure you can on the internet somewhere, just google them. They're pretty expensive, but totally worth the price. The ones I prefer to use, Copic Ciao (with the brush tip), are about 4β¬ each. But they're refillable and therefore pretty longlasting.

Very interesting, how you work & it's a relief, that I'm not the only one who's "strange" @washing hands xD I love how you draw hair 'cause my hair-style is similar meanwhile ^^ (yeah, I've to upload more stuff xP) I like it, when hair looks really hairy & not so affectedly (: (Like I did it during my last paintings *roll eyes*) And I've a penchant for your eyes-style (*_________*) They always look so spirited :3
