and its a ''goodnight from me'' awesome program shame such talent had to pass away, can remember him in Porridge and open all hours, however you can't beat abit of the ''Two Ronnies'', this is a great likeness..

I only ever saw a little of the Two Ronnies in repeats over here in Australia - the distributors who hired me to do this cover were nice enough to send me a few DVD's to watch though - happy little bonus on the job I say!

The distributors I've done work for here so far in Australia are fairly small and tend to get licences to market the more obscure (and sometimes much more interesting) titles - not the big ticket stuff. Its only been TV and stand up stuff so far - hopefully I'll get a crack at a 'movie' cover one day and have a bit of fun with the narration and design of the cover, rather than mostly just head shots.

The DVD is movie about Ronnie Barker and I was just paid to paint the figure for the front cover. Looking forward to seeing it on the shelves though!

Probably best known for a show called 'The Two Ronnies' he did with Ronnie Corbett between 1971 - 1987. Lots of clever word play and dexterous use of the english language.

Thanks. He had an interesting face and great expressions - I really went to town on his hair and features on some of my development sketches, but needed to tone it back a bit to make it more commercially friendly.

Dont think any of his shows made in big in the states, but he was certainly a star in the UK when he was on the Tele.
