Commission for of my evil/corrupted Princess Celestia (Magmare Sun) having defeated Princess Twilight Sparklebeen a long while since i last drew Magmare
While Nightmare Moon was egomaniacal and gloating, Magmare Sun seems curiously devoid of any emotion, save for a vague fascination with watching ponies burn alive.
idk how long it took to draw this but i went through a looooot of episodes of kitchen nightmares while working on it

That would be an interesting episode and even more interesting battle. I'd imagine Twilight would try to talk to her and convince her not to do all of this. Then after a very long internal fight she'd finally battle her.

Magmare: It continues to speak, yet it says nothing.
Twilight: Princessβ¦ Celestiaβ¦ noβ¦
[Magmare's eyes and horn blaze with power as magma envelopes Twilight. Her screams are briefly heard before the molten rock covers her head and she's pulled underground.]
Magmare: So, it does scream. Interesting.
[Magmare walks off without looking back.]

Must be a interesting story plot. Looking at scince. The sun actully could end the world. A billion years into the future. The sun will expand and swollow the planets closest to the sun. By the time the earth is swollowed, the earth will alrady be dry and lifeless from the heat and no life will exsist. The sun will turn into a super nova distroying the rest of the planets in our solar system. Agein. This will be over the course of a billion years. A billion. We have nothing to worry about. Main poin. The sun is far more deadlier than the moon

Oooooh love this one! The colors are fantastic and I love the ominous feeling of Magmare Sun detatchedly observing a helpless Twilight. It looks like she's quietly pondering how much fire is needed to kill an alicorn.

Unplanned tiny drabble/headcanon beloooow....
Discord is suddenly thrust in the role of Equestria's only hope against a corrupted Celestia, for once not knowing what to do. Watching his home burn, his friends get defeated one by one, the annoying ponies he's become strangely fond of fleeing for their lives...
And for once the chaos doesn't feel sweet, because this is true terror surrounding him, the cause of this was his first love..a pony that was his friend, then enemy and back again....and now she's standing over the dying pony that he's too cowardly to express his feelings for. A little purple mare that somehow stood equal to him without fear, crashed through all his senses with her glares and distaste...who became his rival, the thorn in his side....a friend, someone who made his miserable prolonged existence bright by just hearing her giggle, a pony that made his heart skip by just catching a glimpse of her.
And now she's in a pool of blood, eyes glazed over in pain as the thing that was Celestia slowly approaches to finish the job...
And for the first time in his life, Discord knows true rage ....

I guess every song has to end eventually.
It could also be related to the fact that Nightmare Moon came of a mare's desperate need for attention, and so is thus as loud and obnoxious as she can be.Β They ignored her in life, so now they will pay attention in death.Β This thing, on the other hand...maybe born of a wish to finally stop pretending to care.Β A nameless frustration and a wish for everything to just...go away.

Reminds me of an idea I had for three Elemental Alicorns, embodiments of primal forces who taught the ponies the basics of their world and keep those natural elements in check. After all, Celestia and Luna can't control everything, right?
