I pride myself in picking up nerdy references in fact I think I picked up just about every single reference to star trek in Into darkness after only 2 viewings.

Sweet   I love putting Sci-fi references into my fiction stories.  They're like awesome Easter eggs.  I never knew was interested in doing that too.  I just love it that there is an aspect to this comic that I never knew existed

I love putting really obscure sci fi references in my fiction as well actually sent me this: So, finally someone noticed that reference. Well done   ! The idea was, since one of the ships in this comic is called "Red Nostromo", and we know that the ship from Alien is called Nostromo, i wanted to give the ship on this page (Sophonisba) also something that will tie her to the Alien. Hope that makes any sense  In any case, i like to sometimes putt references into the comics i'm working on, so keep your eyes open maybe there will be more in future pages .

anyways I'm not trying to be a pretentious git here but I'd also really appreciate it if maybe you could take a look or two into my gallery. Sorry but it's just seems like absolutly no one on Deviant art has noticed anything I've done and I'm just trying to spread the word

Lol, I never quite picked a part of the time line, except that it would naturally be after Rose and in between companions.  My logic was that he popped into the Star Wars universe but his ship was damaged, so he works with this ragtag group until he can get his Tardis fixed, though he gets separated from it, so he is on these adventures for a while.....
