So, the group Myths-and-Legends is holding a contest about mermaids.

I am very busy atm and I should have spent my time in other ways, but I really wanted to enter. And I didn't want to enter with just one entry, but with two! xD

This is complementary to this one:

I made it in a way that I could also get some additional points, eheh.

+5 for drawing three or more merpeople

+5 for drawing an uncommon character type (I included both old and overweight)

+5 for including a pet (The ugly fish on the bottom right)

Let me talk a bit about these characters.

First of all, they're all standing around this big and magic crystal ball, planning some evil actions. If you notice, the scene roughly depicted in the ball is the one of the joyful kings and queens.

-On the top left, there's Queen Goblin Shark. If you don't know what a Goblin Shark looks like, you should check them out - they're hideous! Of course her mouth and nose are based off the Goblin Shark's main features. The upper part of her body is human-ish, though her head is a bit deformed and her skin color is grey as her lower body part, which is completely shark-like. Hope you like the pin that holds her robe, it's a mutated fish which used to have two bodies.

-On the bottom left: King White Shark. He doesn't have many human features, apart from his arms and hands. He's an old shark with many old scars placed all over his body, because he used to fight a lot when he was younger. His crown is made out of shark teeth, maybe taken from the body of one of his dead enemies. :0

-On the top right: King Blobfish. For him, I didn't even have to humanize the fish's features because the blobfish itself has a very miserable human-like expression. XD

He's not really evil and is quite timid, the other kings take easly advantage of him. He's the big and simple-minded guy, and his crown is just a piece of coral he found on the bottom of the ocean.

-On the bottom right: Queen Lanternfish. She comes from the dark and cold bottom of the ocean. She may be the evilest of them all. At least, she's the one who complains the most. She doesn't have many human features apart from the hair, the arms and the hands. She has big eyes, but she's almost blind. She always brings around her ugly and mutated pet fish.

They don't look really satisfied of their condition.
