So, to put it shortly, the objective was to draw a Disney child as an adult.

I decided to choose Lilo Pelekai from the movie "Lilo & Stitch", because I think she's a lovely character and the film in general is easily lovable. I just rewatched it a few days ago.

But I didn't want to just draw her as a young-ish adult, I also wanted to depict her doing something cool, so I imagined her in her future job. In the future she might become an Earth Ambassador and then the next Councilwoman, who knows!

I gave her a red dress to keep her color palette intact; I didn't want to change her too much, I wanted Lilo to be recognizable.

Of course Stitch is by her side, and he's grown too! I always see fanart of him and Lilo as grown ups, but the only one to really change is only Lilo, Stitch pretty much stays the same. So, I assumed he was a kind of "puppy" when he met Lilo, and in time he aged like her. The spikes on his back are longer, he has hairtufts on the ears and he's overall bigger in size than before.

The rest of the alien cast is there too, proud of their little girl.
