Question to anyone who's successfully made this:
What kind of thread did you use? I tried to make one, but while I was sewing on the head the thread broke D:
So I'm wondering if I should be using a thicker thread or something?

HannahMadison In reply to CrispyCrayon [2017-07-19 17:46:31 +0000 UTC]
I'm using embroidery thread since it's thicker than stitching thread

oh and btw, it's really cute. but theres a part i didn't understand. Did you left the needles inside purposely?

shadow-of-doubtful In reply to Pastry-bunny [2015-05-04 18:01:15 +0000 UTC]
The reason for the needles in the body or head is so that the fabric pieces don't move apart as you are sewing them before you stuff them. As soon as you finish the stitching, you remove the needles before turning it inside out so that you can begin the stuffing process.

When you want to put the eyes, is it easier to attach them before or after you stuff it @.@
just asking because I'm just a beginner :3

Kyarameru-Ouji In reply to CyanCylinder [2014-06-26 19:05:02 +0000 UTC]
im sort of a beginner too!
when making this, i found that sewing them before you stuff should be much easier because i had a bit of trouble doing it after stuffing it.
and since i already sewed the flaps together i couldnt go back and take out the stuffing so i had to glue them on

(not the creator of the tutorial but just thought I'd drop in) I think the best way would be to sew the eyes on. It would probably work better than glue and be much more secure. :3
