)As many of you know, life permitting, I do a weekly surprise feature showcasing some of the lesser known and new artists around DA. In doing that, I find myself constantly getting asked how to fav a news article.
So I figured I'd go ahead and make a tutorial to refer people to, since I couldn't find a good one on my own that explained it. And while I was explaining the faving process, why not go ahead and cover how to submit a feature as well?I think I got rid of any typos, sorry if I missed one somewhere.
If this tutorial dosen't help you any, you might be able to find what you're looking for under the FAQ.
btw, if you'd like to use this when/if you do a feature, feel free

Just wondering, is there any way to view a full list of faved news like you do with your favs? Cant find anything on the subject.. but maby it's just me being slow... ;3

Yes actually, if I'm understanding you right anyway
If you go to your front user page and look under the edit page button in the upper right corner, there's a widget called 'fave news' you can add to your page. That sounds like what you're looking for.

I've already done that, but there's still old faved news that I can't show :/

Do you have to post it as a news article? what if you want it as your journal will the features show up? i tried to post features in my journal becuase i've seen people do it before, but it didn't work.

It depends if you're a premium member or not.
Thumbs will show up in journals only for premium members, but not regular ones. Regular members can still post news articles with thumbs though.

(btw, you did a little mistake in it, the "loveit" icon changes from green to gray :] )
