Buenos dias, this be the Captain! Well now, its not often you come across mime tributes! I saw the previous one in a favorite so I snooped about and uncovered this gem. There's this humorous tone to it and I love his expression. But more importantly, you have artistic merit to your work. There's a very professional feel to how it looks and not an excuse to use your " kewl digital camera lol". The monochromatic feel to it is a very nice touch. You definitely have a talent and I hope you continue creating the art you love! Take care and keep on rockin'!

i like the slightly pale look of your pictures. do you use filters to reduce the colours or something similar?

sorry it took me 3 weeks to respond to your question, but i was in mexico!!!!
for my pale look....i do selective masking (to retain areas of certain colors and manip other areas) ...then i desaturate certain colors....in this all the cool tones heavily, reds and magentas a medium desaturation and the yellows were hightened on saturation. also, i used a ps cs warming filter wiht a very low density, but then dodged the whites to make them white again....sorry so much info, but these are the kind of techniques i employ. hope this helps.
