I love the energy of this shot....quirkiness and humor are two of my favorite things to capture or create in photos....The technical details of this shot were fun....I couldn't have done it without Greg, my studio manager and umbrella model, Kristen, the other model and Justin, my assistant....
High production can be so much fun!!!! ...but it can also be a serious pain in the ass.

but a (really) small critique: i looks like the umbrella is dropping a shadow ... don't know if it's intentional, but i think it woulb be even better without the shadow.

Well captured!! There must surely have been quite a number of takes before you got the moment just right. He leaps off the bench behind, presumably landing on the ground below. He must have been relieved when you finally had the shot "in the can" so to speak. Someone mentioned the naked midriff was a trifle off-putting, but I found the opposite, not only does it heighten the impression of movement in the lifting of the clothing, but also it is a most decorative midriff of which the owner must be justifiably proud, and which gladdens the eye of the lucky beholder. Someone mentioned Fred and Ginger, but there is something kind of Audrey Hepburn about the shot also. Again, full marks, well done !!
