Description Proof that I can and have worked with wood.

The box is 5” x 13”

Birdseye maple, walnut and steel channel.

I was never happy with the feet of the box. I only post it to knock the last picture out of view.

This should be the last box I post for a while. I do have some plans for a new series that I will make for A7’s show.

Hm, I like how this reminds me of a jewelry box, and a piano seat with a compartment to keep music sheets at the same time. Sort of a subtle musical elegance if you put the two images together.
How were the feet supposed to be or look? You mentioned never being happy with them.
And is the lid hinged to the box or a detachable slab resting on top? The first seems to further go back to the jewelry box/piano seat image, for me at least, or the traditional image of a treasure chest. While the second brings to mind a different idea of a cradle image with the lid off, and back again but to a slightly less "traditional treasure chest" image.
