This is a quick sketch that I did for a Penciljack Weekly Sketch Group a while back. This is a rough drawing done with a dying Pitt brushpen. I tinted this blue in PS for extra effect. It took only 12 minutes to whip this out, but I think you can still see how much I love BATMAN. He was my favorite superhero growing up, and my very first comic at age four was a BATMAN issue. I've had the privilege to draw Batman professionally for DC's licensing for many years, drawing him in dozens of kids books since the late '90s. I've drawn him in the offical Timm animated style for DC and I've even drawn him in some styles I created exclusively for the DC kids books. But this image represents my personal take on Batman. If I could draw him for the comics, this would be the direction I'd go in. Probably would be a little tighter though.
