Done by so many others so I suppose it was inevitable in the end. Earth, wind, fire and water, now conceptualised by yours truly as well, Loulin-style.
This one was by far the most complicated in the whole bunch, to come up with as well as to complete. Perhaps fitting since it was in water complex organisms evolved from simple cells. And what better way to complete the circle of elements than with some complex life?
And for the record: water is not easy to paint!
Technical stuff: Watercolour + coloured pencils. Size: about an A4 - approx.29x21 cm / 11,5x8,5 in. Time: approx. 31 hours, NOT including preparing the paper and the hours of just waiting for paint to dry.

The water is definitely my favourite of the elements you've done. Well worth the extra effort.

Thank you very much. I was worried for a while that it wouldn't fit in with the rest of the elements, being more detailed and all, but I think the level of details has been to its advantage (and a good one to finish off the series with
