After the Cross country George decided to take Frosty to see one of the vets, just for a check over as he was looking a bit green round the gills.
Frosty isn't particularly keen on seeing the vet, since one tattooed a number on the inside of his lip when he was young (racehorse I.D) which he didn't enjoy.
As it transpires Frosty's state of exhaustion isn't from physical exertion, but actually from much mental stimulation, causing his tiny brain to expand a little bit and increasing his IQ slightly.
He is still an idiot however, just a slightly smarter form of idiot.
Drawn with propelling pencil on cartridge paper, inked with Pitt pens and coloured in a variety of coloured pencils.

I don't know how much feeling horses have on their top lips (you can stick a twitch on them without causing damage) but I don't have anything pierced of tattooed as I don't like needles.

I can put a brave and logical face in if it's absolutely necessary, but I can't imagine ever sticking a needle in myself if it wasn't necessary.

Phobias are quite an irritating thing to have, I think. They can form all sorts of blocks. I have a strategy for needles - think about Merlin squashing the vet against the wall during his last vaccination!
