Alright, so the F-45P was the first art piece that really propelled me into the Avatar fandom. Now, a good while later, i have come back to review my work. Following this revision, the F-45P has been rebranded and armed for combat.

For the revision, i went in with a goal to make the cockpit feel more like something you'd see in Avatar, whereas the former one was pretty much copied from the F-22 Raptor. Here i went about looking at how the SeaWasp's cockpit was configured. However, i retained the HOTAS (Hand On Throttle And Stick) setup to allow the pilot maximum control without having to take their hands off the main controls, and i shortened the screens so the pilot won't have to turn their heads too much to look at the screens. I also oriented most of the relevant info towards the front so it is always in view.

Secondly, i figured i had to arm the bird if it was to go into battle. The weapons are two KM-722 Dual 20mm cannon assemblies in the main fuselage, and 4 hardpoints under the wings each normally holding a GAU 33-K gunpod. Both are weapons found on the Kestrel, and if fully kitted out, the F-45P can put more lead down range than a Kestrel can do at the same time, though the F-45 won't have missiles in that case.

The F-45P now also have a new name, the Red Kite, based on a friend's recommendation. Like the Kestrel, this is a species of birds. It is more in line with the RDA naming conventions. However, it still has the "Windrunner" nickname, but that is more of an unofficial name that is used by the crews.

Finally, i redid the color scheme because a Toruk color scheme would be way too complex and expensive to make a full body paintjob. Instead, i gave it a dark grey main body, red leading edge, and pitch black wings. I also tinted the canopy orange like you see on the SeaWasp.
