Here's another one I colored and complete this evening. The original drawing by ~david-grier ... I have the original drawing by him in my most recent favs. I only did 7 colors on this entire piece... red, yellow, blue, brown, tan, black, and white. It has two light sources... the one from the flaming kick and one from outside. The background is actually a sunset that I took a photo of awhile back turned 90 degrees on it's side and it fit this peice very well. Lemme know what you think.[penciling] ~david-grier

Good work! I like your color choices, but I want you to try 2 things. First I would like you to tryout the focus highlight technique that is listed in my coloring tutorial on the gold of the arm of the guy in the foreground. Second, try playing around with some glowing effects on the fire from the leg of the guy in the background. You might be pleased with the results.

Yeah... I wasn't really pleased with the glowing effect on the flame... not sure what you mean about the focus highlight... do you mean the gold shoulder guard?

Yes. As for the Focus Highlighs, I believe that it is step 7 or 8 in the tutorial I posted.
