Description
I figured my first part of the build would be to make hte hoverboard that Marty is standing on when he's lowered to the road in front of the billboard. Trying to get a DVD capture to see all the details on this thing was a pain in the butt. But I was able to find a few pics on a couple of good fan sites. I eyeballed the dimensions and cut the peices out of some spare sheet styrene that I had. I printed up the images of the top and bottom of the hoverboard and glued them onto the main board at the right size (took a few times of scaling to get the right size) and then I glued and painted the extra peices onto the board. (Yes.. that's a Dime) I did some creative paint mixing here but thankfully I didn't have to do much because its so small (only a brush full of paint). But I did notice that along the edges of the board itself was a small checkerboard pattern. Talk about a pain in the butt to reproduce along the edges of this thing.
