Wow. What an uneartly structure. This really makes me wish I lived by the sea.

I don't feel that this one is too cluttered at all. The angle on the other version is better but that pic is too cramped.

Wow, that looks really cool against the sky. I'd ask what that place is, but I see other people already asked.

Yeah, it really is a landmark to me, others say its an eyesore. There is actually another one just up the shoreline that is still in use.

what is that building? it's gorgeous, even though it seems to be in an industrial area. the whole photo is really quite lovely.

Thank you! It's an old ore dock that used to be used but is now just a landmark. I believe they are planning to take it down soon.

I hope you don't mind if I give you some personal comments on this picture... The color of the sky and the visibility of the stars is great, also the main object which is much more light than the background contrasts wonderfully with the surroundings, however for me there are some objects (like the small fence, and the towers in background) which do not let you concentrate on the building. This is why I would have included them in separate pictures.

I love personal comments! My girlfriend agrees with you. I tried cutting out the fence posts but I thought that I lost more than I gained overall.

I also generally like busier pictures that have more atmosphere to them, although they do tend to draw attention away. The picture that is a real concern is the moonscape shot with the large lens flare...its an obnoxious distraction rather than a more to look at distraction.

thanky thanky I just abuse myself. If you look closely the stars streak a very small bit. Also DA makes the photo look a bit more choppy... tisk tisk Da
