Description
He had NFA about the TWAs, so we told him to RTFM otherwise it would have been FUBAR'dTMDescriptionMozilla Firefox has an inbuild function called "Keywords", which allows the quick translation of a test string entered into the location bar so that it can be passed through a URL (or JavaScript command) for further use.
An example would be Google - in Firefox, type "google deviantart" and you will be sent to the Google.com result page for a search for "deviantart".
This short tutorial will explain how to use this function to improve your dA Experience.
How To Make Your Own Keyword Links
(Personally I use the existing "Quick Searches" folder, but you can use any folder).
- Name:
- Whatever you want the name of the link to be (Only visible in the bookmark lists). - Location:
- The URL you want to go to. Substitute the section of the url you want to enter via the location bar (ie in the earlier example the "deviantart" keyword), with "%s" - Keyword:
- The Keyword you want to use to invoke this bookmark. Must be unique. - Description:
- A description of what this bookmark is, and how it works. Useful to phrase like "Type 'keywork' to .....".

Wow, awesome! Thanks a lot for sharing
Could you tell me how I can add a subject in notes though (in the link)? That would be great

Unfortunately, as far as I am aware, Firefox Keywords, such as those used here, are only able to have a single parameter passed to them. So, trying to set a second value, such as the subject, based on what you type into the location bar would not be possible.
It may be possible to hack together something using Javascript to parse the parameters you do send it, or to create a number of copies of the same keyword, but with different present subjects, but I am not sure if that is what you are looking for.

Hey Neko,
Thanks for the comment. It's a feature which is documented, to a degree, but not too many people take advantage of.
I'm sure you'll have keywords doing everything under the sun by the week's end!
