Description As my studies about human anatomy develops, I decided that, since drawing more realistic humans need a decent aknowleadge about human bones and muscles, why not try that to make more realistic anthros?

I like goof looking and manga-nesque anthros, but that's not how I would like to draw and any comment about this pic that can help me to undestand better what a "real" anthro would looks like will be welcome.

Hope you like. See ya...

This made me think of something I saw when I was still a kid, I think it was from a National Geographic article. If I'm remembering it correctly, the article was sort of a "what if" scenario built around the idea that, if that giant meteor hadn't throat-punched the Earth at the end of the Cretaceous period and killed them off, certain species of Dinosaurs, not Mammals, would have gradually evolved into Earth's first sentient life forms.

There was a picture in that article of a "life-size" wax statue that someone had made, trying to envision what these hypothetical sentient Dinosaur descendants might have looked like, specifically, if they evolved from raptors. (One of the smarter breeds of dinosaurs, I believe) Sadly, I couldn't find that picture anywhere on the web, I wish I could have given you a link so you could see it for yourself.

Its been ages since I did anything with a pencil... I considered that many times, but drawing a full skeleton is way more difficult than just a skull, and until now I didn't figured exactely how the hip part would look like with the tail (and even how that would affect the anus position and nearby muscles configuration on a bipedal animal... yes, I'm that obsessed with anatomy issues).

But never lose hope, one day it might be up without notice.
Thank you.
