Made with ApophysisThis one sort of fits a certain pattern of mine, but not really. I got so similar shapes via roundabout way, but this artwork is different and new. Visually, it sort of belongs to my loosely r-ship related fractals. It's... re-defining, deconstructing old notions, making space for new patterns.
Remings me that I should probably re-read patternmaster series. Also, guess who finally conquered juliascope final xform again after 4 years? That's right, me. I'm riddiculously proud of that, since I've been stuck with spherical for ages.

Strikes me as a skull - the eye sockets above, plus the main one for the nostrils in the middle, with some sharp fangs.
At some extent, that would indicate a wolf / canine (ample space for the nostrils, giving them their heightened sense of smell).
Can't indicate what the bottom third would represent in that context, though. Le nice!
