I really like the how much action and activity this piece portrays. The more I look at it the more I see and the more energy it seems to have. My eyes are drawn to the brighter areas and travel along the lines to the next one.
This really reminds me of trails in a cloud chamber when viewing the splitting of atoms – either that or it could just be the course that is usually laid out by my GPS on a typical trip across town. Not that that is a bad thing – I really like to drive and definitely like this piece.
The sharp contrast, blurring of lines in the background, and limited color pallet are all very good choices. I’m not sure if I have any suggestions on what I would change or how this could be done better – really nice job! This is a piece that I could hang in my living room and stare at for hours – although my wife would probably object and tell me it would fit better at the office.
