First of all, thank you very much for your nice compliments
Second - this type of digital art is called fractal art. It can be created in various programs such as Incendia, Ultra Fractal, Apophysis, XaoS and many more. I use Apophysis. Fractal art is basically created by combining (and layering) mathematical functions, thus creating and modifying shapes, but each software has different take on this
