Description
Software used: Apophysis This tweak is actually a bit older, I don't know why I thought it's not good enough. It's funny that in retrospect I find old pieces I should have uploaded but didn't and cringe at some uglies I did upload. Ugh. Yeah, I deleted some of my older submissions, maybe 3 or 4 pieces, nothing major.
There's stuff that doesn't belong to public, as much as I love to overshare, being an artist and all that. Insert vague cryptic remark about me missing something in my life and that Perspective isn't always helpful.
Thank you for all favourites, comments, critiques and devwatches! It means a lot to me.

Well, it's art based on mathematical formulae, generally speaking It depends on which software you use. I use Apophysis, so the proces of making a fractal goes roughly like this: You have a blank canvas, then you put first layer with mathematical function of your choice (let's say a function that creates a bubble), then you put another layer with function that multiplies the bubble and now you have 10 bubbles, then you can add another layer with square function to add square to your 10 bubbles and so on. It's not strictly speaking like this but this is the easiest way to explain to non-fractal artist. You can also add multiple functions to one layer, you can adjust value of the function which also alters the shape (for example, you can put 0.01 value to your bubble which makes it very tiny, or you can put the value to 100 to make it giant etc.). And there are about 300 different functions out there, so the possibilities of fractal art are limitless!

The title is appropriate. This fractal really looks like an electric storm, a very strong one.
