Description
First of all, if you have any particular observations concerning what I have so far, I'd love to hear them. Primarily concerning proportions as of this point.

Since I finished my classes for the spring, I ended up buying a 16" Wacom Cintiq tablet, and... omg I love it. It's so much easier to use than my really old Wacom Intuos 4, especially considering the fact that I'm actually using this one.

But yeah. I've decided to revisit some... really old drawings of mine in order to get some practice in, and first on my list, I'm re-doing this particular sketch:

It's of a character of mine named Trenton, from an old story idea I have lingering in my head.

Fixing a lot of the proportion issues from the original drawing, though I still dunno if I've nailed it quite yet. I noticed his arms were off as hell, and adjusted his legs, and changed the hands. Might've made the hands a bit too small, but I've been staring at this a while and I can't tell anymore. xP

But yeah. What was originally just fucking with an old piece is turning into practicing a bit of anatomy and foreshortening lol. I've honestly never drawn male musculature before (all the models in my Drawing I class were female, my self portraits never involved my musculature or lack thereof, and the old dude we drew doesn't really count), so that's something I'm figuring out, since the character's shirt is open.

The head will effectively be a project of its own, since I really struggle with drawing anime-styled heads and faces. Which isn't helpful since that's how I want to draw, but I gotta practice in order to get better, sooooo. xP
