Description

Second assignment for my Illustration class, where the assignment was to basically "cartoonify" me with some people (me, my professor, and a girl from the class), with aspects from the town we live in (I just put in random buildings from the area lol). I ended up choosing to do this in the style of the video game Limbo, but a bit different (as not everything is silhouetted). Plus, had I chosen any other style, it would've taken forever to do the people. xP

... This project also gave me excuse to put tendrils in it lmao.

It's was also decent practice in doing large areas in ink wash, which... kind of worked out.

But still. At least the project overall was successful.

Materials used: 18"x14.5" Arches watercolor paper, ink, ink wash, pen, charcoal, soft pastel (for the lights/eyes).
