I feel like every time I draw Frisk with open eyes it looks either disturbing or weird e_eAlso I was trying out different perspectives so pls ignore that weird Frisk hand lol

I love this page so much! And the last two panels just made me chuckle but it also made me teary. It's so sweet that the relationship between the two of them has become so strong, yet sans still makes a hard situation light hearted. You've portrayed him extremely well Lumen :3 amazing work as always!!!

I'm glad I'm portraying him well. I feel like I'm not giving Frisk a consistent personality though.
But I guess it makes sense if you look at it this way: at first Frisk was scared and shocked that Sans was so cold towards them. (imagine a family member completely forgot who you are) But then when Sans started crying and said Frisk's name, Frisk was a bit relieved and gathered strength (and determination) to forgive him and comfort him.
Does it make sense then? e_e

On a different note: Whenever your doing your highlights and shading, make sure your lighting is exactly the same for each panel, unless the lighting changes setting wise. Also, when you have a light source that's colored, say a soul, make sure that the lighting is also colored the same as the light source itself. i.e., If it was a Blue Soul, then you would color the lighting blue. The shadows, unless that colored light source is your main source, i.e., colored lamp or what not. the shadows won't be that color. Note: There can be multiple light sources. Last but not least, when you're shading think about how much light is coming from each of your light source(s).
Besides that, you're doing pretty good!

Damn, you really took some time to write all of this.
I wasn't really trying to make the souls look like they were glowing (although now you gave me the idea to do so) but rather make them look like they're not something solid. Like a dim light that barely shines, but is still there.
I've already tried some serious lighting practice though (as you can see here lucidlumen.deviantart.com/art/… )

Try doing what I did first, use paper as the base for the comic, and make the line art via artistic pen, then scan the paper, and do the line art tweaking and coloring via Photoshop, it's only till right now that I've started relying completely on the tablet for the comics, and I've yet to submit one in such form, so try to take your time, and figure out better methods of coloring

I've actually thought about this, but there's a problem. I don't have a scanner and I don't have Photoshop. Photoshop isn't really a problem though, I do everything in Firealpaca which is a really good program imo. An alternative to scanning would be just taking a picture with a camera and using it as a sketch.
So yeah I'll try that, ty for the advice :3

Hmmm, I do recommend getting Photoshop or Sai, since most people are used to those two programs, you won't likely find any tutorials for Firealpaca, and if you can't scan, why don't you practice drawing characters on a notebook in different poses over and over till you get them right, that way you will have a clear memory of their proportions, but it will take a little time, heck the first time I drew Frisk, Sans, and Flowey they looked beyond awful, so don't worry too much over how it looks now, however what you do next should look noticeably better than this, kay

As for practice. I guess I can agree that I need to practice proportions. As long as I can remember my favorite thing to draw were faces/portraits.
My drawings were always messy though. Changing that will need some time, but I'm always trying my best to improve, so I'm not worried too much about it :3
