Description
So today marks a special day for Rare fans. The kickstarter for all new Banjo Kazooie Style game, Yooka-Laylee, is under way and is doing really well. This and Mighty No 9 are successors to two of the most amazing platforming games of all time, so I decided to bring them together and see how these two all so famous platforming heroes got along.I forgot how to draw is my answer. Messed up on both and I was stubborn to draw Yooka in my style instead of the orignail style and that turned out horribly, this is also the first time I colored Beck in his newer palate of colors, I like the older one better.

The community for that game went to absolute crap because the manager was a horrible person who frequently mocked everyone she didn't agree with, censored entire comment threads, revoked privileges people paid for after the slightest offense, and encouraged those same people to boycott the game out of spite.
On a more mechanical level the majority opinion on what was shown of the alpha, beta, and finished product was consistently poor with people complaining of levels being just long hallways with the occasional enemy, poor jumping controls, frequent glitches, and the environments considered generally bland.
Not to mention the financial difficulties early on that forced the studio to continually raise the amount of money needed to complete the game, something that still hasn't been resolved considering they have had to lay off people this late in development, that is if they didn't quit on their own.
Mighty number 9 is looking to be another one of those cautionary tales about funding people on kickstarter.

Well dude the game is not out yet andI personally have not suffered through any of that and I'm usually on MN('s website a lot. And The kick starter for YL is just beginning, I hope they're not as bad as you claim, but alright. I for one am looking forward to the game. both of them.

I'll certainly be surprised if MN9 can even become half as successful as the previous megaman games but I won't spoil the party for you, for now I think I'll stick with yooka-laylee.
