Made with DeviantArt muroMisty prepares to take on Robot Electro Jones, Jenny Wakeman, and their assembled allies and loved ones. Robot asks Jenny to give him the four one one about her history with Misty. Jenny explains that Misty used to be part of a trio of teenage heroes called the Teen Team, but the team was supposedly disbanded. After that, Misty tried to spend some time with Jenny on Earth, but they had a falling out because of Misty losing sight over what being a hero means and caring more about using her powers for personal gain. Jenny also adds that she suspects that Misty wasn't telling the whole truth about her no longer being part of the Teen Team.
Misty gleefully admits to Jenny's suspicions and reveals that Orion and Squish actually kicked her out of the Teen Team for being selfish and callous and that the stuff about the team splitting up over Orion's interest in taking ballet was a ginormous lie (A hero team splitting up over their leader taking interest in a certain hobby seemed kind of silly to me, plus Orion and Squish never making any more appearances after the Teen Team's debut came off as rather suspicious, so I came to the conclusion that what Misty said was a fabrication. I also toyed with the idea that Misty killed her teammates when they tried to confront her on her not-so-heroic ways, but I decided that's just too dark and mean-spirited for this story. Misty honestly isn't one of my favorite Teenage Robot characters because of how she acted in her last two episodes, but I'm drawing the line at reducing her to a monster with no chance at redemption).
Robot takes the time to comfort Jenny over trying to be friends with Misty before realizing that she wasn't very nice or altruistic, revealing to her that he, too, once made the mistake of befriending the wrong people, and that those people he once thought were his friends were his longtime tormentors the Yogman Twins.
Sheldon Lee, Dr. Wakeman, and Mitch proceed to boast that Misty's days are numbered because she's outnumbered by how many people are there to fight at Jenny and Robot's sides. XJ8 goes on to tear into Misty over not caring about helping people if they can't pay her, but it all goes in one ear and out the other.
Jenny can't stand this any longer, so she pulls the old "Person I'm talking to agrees to my instructions if they say what" trick, leaving Misty in for a surprise when she's immobilized by a freeze ray.

I still think Misty was a selfish bitch in her last two appearances. Also, you got to accept that not everyone has the same opinions on fictional characters that you do.
If you don't like that I've had Misty join the dark side, T.S.!

She was an idiot. But if the show got rebooted. They gotta make an episode with her reuniting and fixing everything.
