Still another page of this Mighty Mouse fan comic spoofing the Superman story Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?

Mighty Mouse meets with his assembled allies Pearl Pureheart, the Cow (now reformed), Nell (empowered from bathing with Super Soap), and Scrappy (who gained stretching powers from drinking a special soda) to confront the mastermind behind all the chaos that has unfolded.

It turns out that the one responsible for such insanity as Mangy Mouse killing himself after going on a drunken rampage, Oil Can Harry murdering Heckle and Jeckle, and Cerebriac taking control of Petey Pate's body is the Astronut, who has gone bad because he got sick of being the unintelligible pest who got his kicks by messing with Deputy Dawg. He then reveals his true form, but Mighty Mouse is not intimidated and instead uses a device to permanently banish the alien menace to another plane of reality where he can never do any harm ever again.

With all his foes out of action for keeps, Mighty Mouse then decides that it's time for him to retire. He steps into a room of Gold Limburger to rid himself of his amazing powers, content with leaving the crime-fighting in Mouseville to the Cow, Scrappy, and Nell.

Pearl Pureheart, now married to Roy Morrison, concludes this tale to her interviewer Floyd Smits.

This comic should be wrapped up soon. I hope.
