Description
Thoughts: (At last, time lets me return to this effort.) Despite Toriel's hopes and a step aside for other possibilities, it seems there is some history to revisit, and she is not the only one who will face those consequences. Albert, backed into a corner and slightly intimidated, knows there is no tenable ground anymore - and it's left a void of doubt. The implications hint at things not being simple. It's been a long time since anyone has even seen a Skeleton Monster.
The Queen still has plenty to question and listen to, but she can finally begin to gather some information and put together the pieces.
... Of her past, one might notice in the distance among the slowly fleeing Monsters, a weeping skeleton. There is also one which is quite turtle-like, and one in deep robes, but those are not intended as the River Person, nor Gerson. With their potent and lasting fire magic, the two Royals had left a strong impression, literally being the guiding light which their people followed. One might ask where Asgore's cloak is - he charitably gave it up to those who were weary or cold, slicing it in quarters to cover more people. While the King's armor could function in combat, Toriel's is more ceremonial, and she is very much their symbol of hope.
Note the gaudy little fine tea set, meant to be of pewter. I'd see Monster implements as having a rather wider variety than our own. Albert gets a cup with a wider handle, to suit his webbed hands. Of course, staring blankly into his teacup, he hopes to see some oracular sign in the tea leaves, as he goes about gathering his own memories and deciding where to start.
There are some Wingdings hidden there, degraded and smudged. "It begins with awareness..." and another, "The persistence of memory."
But what about the black boxes...?
(Mind the wandering style or exploration. I learn and vary as I go.)

Beautiful, as all your works are.
I deeply appreciate your use of a journal to speak of and for Gaster. I too hit upon that idea for my own Gaster character. A good scientist always has notebooks, I often find myself dabbling away in a notebook of sorts for my various jobs and tasks of the day or week.

I would easily expect a convergence of paths, and for parallels to exist, especially with development or consideration toward Gaster and his ways.
Of books and notebooks, I have already filled the better portion of a notebook with various elements relating to this comic project - fragments and references, small events and greater arcs of purpose. However, in general as to myself, I have at least a few books in motion at the same time: journals, fragmentary writing to clear the mind. Books of calligraphy, books of prose and flow of introspection. They are artifacts of who we are, and show the path of who we are becoming.
If time allows, I've yet plenty to show of Gaster's traits herein. I appreciate your thoughts on the work so far, though I imagine that my workmanship or traits will continue to drift until they find equilibrium.
