Uthar is one of my husband skullard 's darker characters, but he's actually a very cool guy. Uthar is a dhampir, the son of a human woman and male vampire. He isn't proud of this fact, and goes out of his way to curb his more bloodthirsty tendencies as much as possible. Uthar learned the art of alchemy to make himself potions that curb his darker desires and make it easier for him to interact with ordinary humans.

Uthar is a very serious young man. He has virtually no social skills and he never really smiles. He has a hard time understanding people's feelings, even when those feelings are his own.
